On May 17, 2022, the Book Palace Ulyanovsk regional scientific library named after V.I. Lenin held a grand opening of the All-Russian Youth Philately Exhibition, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Vladimir Lenin All-Union Pioneer Organization.
The event was arranged by the Union of Philatelists of Russia, the Ministry of Education of the Ulyanovsk Region, the Ulyanovsk Branch of JSC Russian Post, JSC Marka and Book Palace regional library. The exhibition comprises more than 40 collections of young philatelists from Russia, Belarus and Israel. JSC Marka presented its display exhibits: Treasures of Russia and Fine Art of Russia.
On May 19, in the framework of the exhibition, a ceremony will be held of presentation and cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Vladimir Lenin All-Union Pioneer Organization. During the exhibition, the visitors will have an opportunity to take part in various guessing games, master classes and contests for young philatelists.
The exhibition will run until May 22, 2022.
