On December 14, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of a stamp from block of four Artists for Moscow

The ceremony was held at the Russian Academy of Arts in the framework of the Zest for Life exhibition of People's Artist of the Russian Federation Nikolai Borovskoy. The event was attended by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Victor Kalinin, the First Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts; People's Artist of the Russian Federation Andrey Kovalchuk, the Chairman of the Union of Artists of Russia, a Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts; and People's Artist of the Russian Federation Nikolai Borovskoy, the First Secretary of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Chairman of the Moscow Union of Artists of Russia, a Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The postage stamp features Nikolai Borovskoy's painting Moscow at Night (1999). The stamp was issued in the composition of the Artists to Moscow block of four devoted to the 875th Anniversary of Moscow, which presents artworks by famous painters of the past and present.

Moscow is the capital of Russia, the largest city in the country in terms of population, a hero city. With its historic buildings, streets and monuments, the city used to attract and is still attracting famous artists from around the world, who picture the city in all its beauty in their paintings.

The exhibition of N.I. Borovskoy will run until January 14, 2022, in the exhibition halls of the Russian Academy of Arts (21 ul. Prechistenka, Moscow).
