On October 21, a stamp featuring the Georgievsky Hall went into postal circulation in the Grand Kremlin Palace series

The Grand Kremlin Palace is one of the palaces of the Moscow Kremlin. It was built in 1838-1849 by order of Emperor Nicholas I. The palace functions as the ceremonial residence of the head of the state.

The Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace is the largest of the staterooms of the Moscow Kremlin. It was meant as a hall of military glory of Russian arms and was dedicated to the Order of St. George the Victorious, who since ancient times has been a symbol of Russian feats of arms and the chief guardian and protector of the Russian army. The ceiling vaults are highly decorated with symbols of the Order of St. George: gold stars and crosses. Presently, the Georgievsky Hall hosts meetings of the President of the Russian Federation with foreign delegations; besides, the Hall is used for full-dress dinners and festivals.

The postal stamp provides an image of the Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

In addition to the issue of the postal stamp, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and a special cancel for Moscow and a maxi-card.
