On October 13, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to the Eurasian Women's Forum

The event was held at the Tavrichesky Palace in St. Petersburg as part of the opening of the Eurasian Women's Forum. The ceremony was attended by Valentina Matvienko, the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Victoria Abramchenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

The Eurasian Women's Forum has been carried out since 2015. It is the largest international platform consolidating women from all continents of the planet. The theme of the Forum 2021 is Women: A Global Mission in the New Reality. On October 13-15, 2021, plenary sittings, strategic and breakout sessions, and discussion platforms will take place, dedicated to the mission of women in shaping a new agenda for peace and confidence, a healthy society, in saving the planet, in social changes, as well as digitalization and economic development. The Forum will be attended by women parliamentarians, representatives of executive authorities, international organizations, global corporations, the business and academic community, public organizations and charitable projects, and prominent figures of the international women's movement.

The postal stamp features the logo of the Eurasian Women's Forum. The print run is 126 thousand stamps.
