On September 23, 2021, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of a stamped envelope dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of starting up operations of the first national main gas pipeline Saratov-Moscow

The anniversary events were held in the Museum of the Gas Transport Mainstream of LLC Gazprom Transgaz Moscow. The event was attended by Alexey Eremin, the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District; Pavel Zavalny, a Deputy of the State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy, the President of NP Russian Gas Society; Alexander Babakov, the Director General of LLC Gazprom Transgaz Moscow; and Vladimir Mironov, the Director General of LLC Gazprom Transgaz Saratov. Guests of honor at the ceremony were CEOs of subsidiaries of PJSC Gazprom.

The company dates its history back to July 25, 1946, when by order of the Chief of Glavgaztopprom of the USSR Council of Ministers, a decision was taken to reorganize the Directorate of the Saratov-Moscow gas pipeline under construction into the Gas Pipeline Management Division. In 1966, the company was awarded the Order of Lenin, the highest award of the USSR, for major operation accomplishments. Nowadays, LLC Gazprom Transgaz Moscow is the largest pipeline subdivision of PJSC Gazprom, one of the crucial elements of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia ensuring timely uninterrupted natural gas supply to consumers in 14 regions of the European part of Russia with a 25% share of the country's population, as well as gas supply to the home market and transit to Russia’s near-abroad and far-abroad countries.

The postal envelope provides an image of the archival layout of the Saratov-Moscow natural gas pipeline route; the logo of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of LLC Gazprom Transgaz Moscow and a photo illustrating the present day: the Voskresenskaya gas-compressor station of the Serpukhov Linear Production Department of Main Gas Pipelines branch of LLC Gazprom Transgaz Moscow. The print run is 250,000 envelopes. The envelope was delivered to Russian post offices, and the naturals of Russia can use it to send their letter post.
