In the course of the meeting, approval was given to additions and amendments to the Editorial Calendar for the issuance of postage stamps, postcards with commemorative stamps for the years of 2021 and 2022; besides, consideration was given to applications for the issuance of state valuable postal matter, received from governmental and, public organizations and institutions, as well as from individuals.
The 2021 Editorial Calendar of issuance of state valuable postal matter is supplemented by the issuance of postage stamps dedicate to the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Dagestan, 150th Birth Anniversary of Ivan M. Gubkin, the organizer of the Russian oil geology, Russian Knights and Swifts aerobatics teams, 75th Anniversary of Russian ice hockey, a Joint issue of the Russian Federation and Mongolia is scheduled, etc.
Starting with 2021, a new series of postcards with commemorative stamps Geographic Projects of Russia will be launched; the series will consist of postcards dedicated to annual educational campaign Geographical Dictation and the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
The plan for 2022 envisages issuance of postal stamps dedicated to the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, the 1100th Anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria, the International Tiger Conservation Forum, the World Energy Congress in St. Petersburg, Arctic tourism, and other events and memorable dates.
The updated Editorial Calendars of issuance of stamped postal matter will be available on the websites of JSC Marka.
