On August 24, awarding of the winners of The Image of Contemporary Russia drawing competition was held along with the ceremony of commemorative cancellation of the postage stamps

The event was attended by Artyom Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka; Lyubov Soldatkina, the head of the Russia Here project of the All-Russia People's Front; Ekaterina Borovskaya, a member of the Board of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia; and the winners of the contest.

Words of welcom to the contest participants via video link were delivered by Nikolai Borovskoy, the Chairman of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician and a member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts; and Professor Andrey Prodeus, pediatric immunologist, Doctor of Medicine.

The organizers of the competition were the All-Russia People's Front and JSC Marka with support from the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. The partners of the Project were the ArtContract information and exhibition agency, the VISTA-ARTISTA trademark of products for artists and the ZVEZDA radio station.
The competition was held from May 5 to June 7, 2021. The participants in the Competition were citizens of the Russian Federation: professional artists and designers, including students and graduates of creative universities, and non-professional artists. The organizers received 1,750 artworks by participants from 30 regions of the Russian Federation.

The Artistic Expert Board of the competition has chosen the winner in the Stamp nomination: Anastasia M. Voloshenko , 46 y.o., St. Petersburg, drawing Bear. Art work Heroes-2021 by Galina B. Nazarenko (63 y.o.) from Yekaterinburg was praised by the Board in a special nomination established by the All-Russia People's Front related to the valiant deeds of doctors during the pandemic.

The print run of the stamp with an image of a bear against the background painted in the colors of the Russian flag is 198 thousand stamps. The print run of the stamp with an image of medical professionals and a volunteer is 135 thousand stamps.

The authoritative jury also selected the best six sketches in the Postcard category that will make the basis for JSC Marka issuance of unstamped postcards. The print run of each postcard was 1,000 items.

The products have come into postal circulation, and nationals of Russia now have an opportunity to purchase them at post offices and Collectioner show rooms throughout Russia to send their correspondence in this country and around the world.
