On July 6, 2021, at a gala event at the Russian Academy of Arts, Artyom Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka, was bestowed a badge and a certificate of a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The rank of the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts is conferred to artists, architects, designers, and art critics who have made an outstanding creative and scientific contribution to contemporary Russian and global fine arts, architecture, design, and art history.
Since 2005, Artyom Adibekov has been the head of the Marka Publishing House. In addition to its primary function of payment for the mail transfer, the state valuable postage matter has an important educational mission of preservation and spreading of Russian culture all over the world. Two series of postage miniatures that mirror the cultural heritage of our country are under production in the Russian Federation: a series of postage blocks timed to the anniversaries of Great painters of the past and a series of stamps Contemporary Art of Russia with the works of outstanding people of Art of the present. The projects were implemented in partnership with the Russian Academy of Arts.
Artyom Adibekov is also a talented artist and a large-scale creative personality. Since 2015, he is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and since 2017, an Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Ingushetia. His paintings were displayed at more than 30 exhibitions held in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; the Russian Historical Society; the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Vienna and in Berlin; Embassy of Mexico in Moscow; Russian Museum Reserves Muranovo and Abramtsevo, in Museum-Estates Arkhangelskoe and Yasnaya Polyana; as well as in the exhibition halls and galleries of St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Alexandrov, Ryazan, Rybinsk, Kaluga and Kolomna.
