The organizers of the competition were the All-Russia People's Front and JSC Marka with support from the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
The participants from 30 regions of the Russian Federation submitted 1750 artworks for participation in the competition.
The Arts Council of the competition decided on the winner in the Stamp category:
— Anastasia M. Voloshenko, 46 y.o., St. Petersburg, The Bear.
In a special category instituted by the All-Russia People's Front and related to the heroic work of doctors under a pandemic, the Council gave its approval to artwork Heroes of 2020 by Galina B. Nazarenko (63 y.o.) from Yekaterinburg.
Six winners were determined in the Postcard category:
— Olga A. Samoilova, 48 y.o., St. Petersburg, Patchwork Regards from Russia;
— Tamara I. Begine, 38 y.o., Moscow, At Grandma’s;
— Lyudmila V. Minkova, 43 y.o., Severomorsk, Murmansk Region, Let the Mother's prayer be heard;
— Alexander V. Obolensky, 53 y.o., Ostrov, Pskov Region, With greetings from Russia;
— Anna N. Gordeeva, 38 y.o., Moscow, Tea party. Gorodets painting;
— Anna A. Noskova, 29 y.o., Zarechny, Sverdlovsk region, The Youth.
Frequent themes in the works of competition participants were monuments of architectural heritage such as golden-domed churches, landscapes of the central part of Russia, as well as articles of culture and science of different times (satellites, agricultural machinery, rockets, etc.) and classical Russian ballet.
As was stated by Lyubov Soldatkina, the Head of the Russia is Here Project of the All-Russia People's Front, a member of the Culture Committee of the State Council, these themes imply the perception of the country by its people, first of all, as common natural space with common cultural heritage. Many participants in the competition associate, as before, the image of Russia with the motherhood and the country itself with the family.
Artyom Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka, announced that after final refinement, basing on the sketches of the winners of the competition JSC Marka will produce state valuable postal matter (postage stamps and unstamped postcards) that will go into circulation throughout the country.
The authors will receive fees from the Publisher and sets of professional artistic materials from the project partner, the VISTA-ARTISTA trademark.
In August 2021, the postage stamps will go into postal circulation and will become available for sale in the chain of Collectioner philatelic show rooms and postal offices throughout the country. On the issuance day, an official ceremony will be held of cancelling the new state valuable postal matter of the Russian Federation.

The participants in the Competition were citizens of the Russian Federation: professional artists and designers, including students and graduates of creative universities, and non-professional artists.
The partners of the Project were the ArtContract information and exhibition agency, the VISTA-ARTISTA trademark of products for artists and the ZVEZDA radio station.
