On June 1, a ceremony was held to extinguish a marked card dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the cryptographic service of Russia



The event was attended by Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valery Kozlov, First Deputy Head of the Scientific and Technical Service of the FSB of Russia Andrey Ivashko, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, President of the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation Alexander Shoitov, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Nikonov.

The Cryptographic Service of Russia was established on the basis of the Resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR of May 5, 1921. It provides information protection in information and telecommunications systems and special communication systems in the Russian Federation and its institutions abroad, including in systems using modern information technologies, using encryption (cryptographic) means. The encryption service of the state has firmly and definitively taken its position in all areas where there are state and military secrets.

The circulation of the postcard with the letter " B " is 2 thousand copies. It depicts an emblem designed by the artist Vladimir Nikonov specifically for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Cryptographic service of Russia.
