The exhibition "The Art of the Brand" opened in Solotch in Ryazan»

The Ryazan State Regional Art Museum named after I. P. Pozhalostin opened an exhibition "The Art of the Brand".
The exhibition project "Art of the Stamp" in Ryazan is hosted by the House-Museum of Academician Ivan Petrovich Zhalostin, an engraver, master of reproduction chisel engraving of the second half of the XIX century. In Soviet times, in the 1930s and 50s, famous writers K. G. Paustovsky, A. P. Gaidar, R. I. Fraerman lived and worked here, whose works written in Solotch were included in the golden fund of Russian literature.
The exhibition "Art of the Stamp" is a unique joint project of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia (MOSH of Russia), the Moscow Union of Artists and the joint stock company "Marka", which is a combined exhibition of paintings, graphics and postal miniatures.
The Marka Publishing house has been creating state postage stamps of the Russian Federation for more than 160 years. Every year, the collection of postage stamps, postcards, envelopes and souvenirs is updated with new issues dedicated to the historical events of Russia, monuments of the world cultural and natural heritage, architectural sights of cities, museums, and outstanding creative personalities of the country.
Since 2012, together with the Union of Artists of Russia, JSC "Marka" has been publishing a series of postage stamps "Modern Art of Russia" with images of canvases and sculptural compositions of our contemporaries-the leading masters of the country.
Within the framework of the exhibition, it is possible to see graphics and paintings by members of art associations whose works were displayed on postal miniatures: people's artists of the Russian Federation A. I. Teslik, V. A. Glukhov, E. V. Romashko, as well as paintings by leading artists of the Mark publishing house A. V. Adibekov, S. A. Ulyanovsk, O. N. Savina and others.
