On March 26 an official cancellation ceremony of the postal block and the artistic stamped envelope dedicated to the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation was held

 

The Director of Rosgvardiya — Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Viktor Zolotov, and the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev took part in the cancellation ceremony. The event was held at the Central Museum of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

 

The National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation (Rosgvardiya) was established on April 5, 2016 on the basis of a Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "in order to ensure state and public security, protect human and civil rights and freedoms".


"In the postal tradition, events that are hat are crucial for the history of the country are perpetuated, and the current cancellation ceremony of the thematic postal block and a stamped envelope emphasizes the contribution of the law enforcement forces to ensuring the security of the Russian state for two centuries," said Viktor Zolotov, Director of Rosgvardiya — Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.


 
 


The postal block provides an image of the official coat of arms of the Federal service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation and enlisted men formation. The circulation of the postal block was 30 thousand copies. The block will also be available in the mARka augmented reality mobile application, it can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Aiming a smartphone at the block will show the special video about the activities of the troops of the Russian Guard.

In addition to the issue of the postal block, JSC “Marka” has manufactured the first day cover and special cancellation postmarks for Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The artistic stamped envelope is dedicated to a professional holiday — the Day of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, which is celebrated on March 27. The envelope shows photos of military personnel from different times and the famous photo of Yevgeny Khaldei "Victory Parade on June 24, 1945. The fallen banners of the enemy." The circulation of the artistic marked envelope was 1 million copies.
