On December 15, in the framework of a joint issue of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea, stamps dedicated to national representatives of fauna will go into postal circulation

   
 

Diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea were established on September 30, 1990. The Republic of Korea is one of the priority partners of Russia in the Asia-Pacific region. Fruitful interaction has been established between Russia and Korea at the levels of the Governments and Security Councils, foreign affairs agencies of the two countries remain in touch.
The joint issue of the two countries is dedicated to the national representatives of the fauna: the European brown bear and the Asiatic black bear.

In addition to the issue of the postal stamps, JSC Marka will produce First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow, St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Perm, Yaroslavl, Velikiy Novgorod, and Khabarovsk.
