On June 24, an envelope with a commemorative stamp dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory Parade was put into postal circulation in the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 series


The Red Army Parade on June 24, 1945, was a historic parade held on Red Square in honor of the victory of the USSR over Germany in the Great Patriotic War. The troops were reviewed by Marshal Georgy Zhukov and handled by Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky. The participants in the Parade were 24 marshals, 249 generals and 2,536 officers of other ranks, 31,116 sergeants and soldiers.

The envelope with a commemorative stamp provides an image of a logotype of celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945; the central image features a historic photo of the Victory Parade of June 24, 1945, taken by Yevgeny Khaldei.

In addition to the issue of the envelope with a commemorative stamp, JSC Marka will produce special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg.
