On May 8, 2020, exhibition
Art of a Stamp opened in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Berlin with participation of Sergey Nechaev, the Ambassador of Russia to Germany, and Pavel Izvolskiy, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Germany. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Germany were invited to attend the ceremony.
The philatelic part of the exhibit display presents issues of state valuable postal matter of Russia of patriotic topics on the occasion of the 75
th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. These are unique collections of postal stamps and philatelic souvenir products dedicated to major historical events and war heroes, military equipment and national awards.
Besides, the exhibition presents landscape, portrait and still-life artistic paintings by artists, members of the Union of Russian Artists, Artyom Adibekov, Olga Savina and Sergei Ulyanovsky.
The exhibition will run through May 31, 2020, at the
Tolstoy Hall of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Germany, Berlin, Friedrichstrasse 176.
