The Federal Communications Agency launches the Veteran’s Letter campaign

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, traditional patriotic campaign Veteran’s Letter, launched by the Federal Communications Agency, is getting on the way. JSC Marka produced 2 million 300 thousand envelopes with commemorative stamps, and JSC Russian Post will deliver these envelopes to war veterans between May 6 and May 9 along with congratulations from the President of the Russian Federation.

The envelope has a unique design and the shape of a triangle letter from the front with a franking note: a commemorative stamp featuring the Order of Victory, the highest military award of the USSR. Veterans will be able to send their letters free of charge over the entire territory of Russia until December 31, 2020.

The Federal Communications Agency, JSC Marka and JSC Russian Post have been holding the Veteran's Letter campaign since 1995 every five years, arranged to coincide with the anniversaries of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Oleg Dukhovnitskii, the Head of the Federal Communications Agency, said that the Federal Communications Agency was the pioneer of this campaign. Care for veterans is a part of endless gratitude and appreciation for their great cause. The envelope shaped as a legendary triangle letter is a piece of patriotic education of citizens and an example of the generation bridge.

“This year, the envelope has a unique design, which is based on the emblem of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Participation in the campaign and publication of envelopes for war veterans is an important patriotic mission for our company. Letters from the front have always been the only thread connecting soldiers with their near and dear ones. And today, veterans will be able to send their congratulations and letters to front mates in a commemorative triangle envelope,” pointed out Artyom Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.
