Acceptance of applications is under way for All-Russian drawing competition The Great Victory and the History of My Family


On March 16, 2020, All-Russian drawing competition The Great Victory and the History of My Family started; the event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is conducted in the frames of the Day of Children and Parental Happiness, which is to be by tradition celebrated in Russia on June 1.

The organizers of the competition are the International Public Foundation for the Promotion of the Spiritual and Moral Revival of Modern Society Foundation of Saint Andrew the First-Called, the Federal Communications Agency and JSC Marka.

The objectives of the competition are popularization of the celebration of the Day of Children and Parental Happiness in the Russian Federation and traditional family values among children and modern youth; formation of a sense of patriotism and love for the Motherland among the younger generation and heightening their interest for the history of the Great Patriotic War; and also memorization of the War heroic events.

Students of general education institutions, art schools, pupils of family-oriented social organizations and Sunday schools at the ages from 6 to 18 can take part in the competition on a voluntary basis. You may acquaint yourself with the Competition Regulations and complete an application for participation in the competition at https://artcontract.ru/contest/2047 until April 17, 2020 (until 23:59 Moscow time). The majority of the jury would decide on the authors of drawings answering the postal miniature requirements, which would best reveal the subject of the competition and have a high artistic level, as the competition winners.

On the basis of the drawing of the competition winner, JSC Marka will produce state valuable postal matter a stamped envelope or a postcard.

The results of the competition will be posted on the websites of the Foundation of Saint Andrew the First-Called (www.fap.ru) and JSC Marka (www.rusmarka.ru), as well as on the pages of the Federal Communications Agency and the ArtContract competition operator.
