On March 19, the Commission for the State Postal Matter of the Federal Communications Agency held its scheduled meeting



The meeting was chaired by Oleg Dukhovnitskii, the Head of the Federal Communications Agency. In the course of the meeting, additions and amendments were approved to Editorial Calendars of the issuance of postal stamps, postcards and envelopes with commemorative stamps for the year of 2020 as well as schedules of the issuance of the State Postal Matter for 2021. The Commission also regarded all the messages concerning the issuance of the State Postal Matter submitted by state, public organizations and institutions and by individuals.

The Calendar for 2020 is supplemented by issuance of postal stamps devoted to the All-Russian vote on introducing corrections to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, to the 75th anniversary of the Atomic Branch of Russia and the oncological service of Russia, to homefront workers and Manchurian operation, etc.

For the year of 2021, the schedule envisages issuance of stamped products devoted to the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod, the 650th anniversary of Kaluga, the 300th anniversary of Kuzbass, the 100th anniversary of the Komi Republic and memorial estate Yasnaya Polyana, the 200th birth anniversary of writer F.M. Dostoyevsky and poet N.A. Nekrasov and other subject matter.
