The exhibition is being held in the
Ozerov's House Cultural Center in Kolomna. In the frame of opening of the exhibition, a ceremony of cancellation of an unstamped postcard picturing the
Ozerov's House was carried out. The ceremony was attended by Nikolai Borovskoi, First Vice President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Chairman of the Moscow department of the Union of Russian Artists, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician and member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts; Galina Drozdova, the Director of the
Ozerov's House Cultural Center; and Artyom Adibekov, the Director General of JSC
Marka.
The
Art of a Stamp exhibition is a joint project of the Russian Academy of Arts, Union of Russian Artists, Moscow department of the Union of Russian Artists, Moscow Union of Artists and JSC
Marka.
The exhibition displays pieces of art by well-known Russian painters and graphic artists, whose artworks were pictured on postal miniatures.
