On March 10, a stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub (1920–1991), fighter pilot, Triple Hero of the Soviet Union, was put into postal circulation



Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub (1920-1991) was a Soviet military commander, Air Marshal (1985), flying ace, triple Hero of the Soviet Union (1944, 1944, 1945), deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1946–1961).

The stamp provides a portrait of Ivan Kozhedub in his flight uniform and the La-7 Fighter Aircraft, which was his fighting plane.

In addition to the issuance of the postal stamp, JSC Marka produced a First Day Cover and special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg.
