On Mrch 3, four stamps dedicated to cats were put into postal circulation in the Fauna of Russia series

Cats are among the most popular pets. They enjoy independence, perceive the world around them by intuition and like to show character. They manifest their mood, demands, and requests through habits and behavior.

The postal stamps present images of the following breeds: Neva Masquerade, Kurilian Bobtail, Ural Rex and Don Sphynx.

In addition to the emission of the postage stamps, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg.
