On February 28, 2020, Oleg Dukhovnitsky, the Head of the Federal Communications Agency, and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka, held working talks with Igor Nikitin, the Charge d'Affaires of Russia in Austria.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the opening of a JSC Marka branch in the Republic of Austria, activities within the frame of celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as a joint issue of Russian and Austrian postage stamps dedicated to the cross-year of literature and theater in 2020-2021.
The day before, the delegation visited the site of the future international branch of JSC Marka and examined the state of its readiness. Sales of Russian philatelic products to the EU countries will be accomplished online through a special website. The project is aimed at the development of relations with the world philatelic community, dissemination of the historical and cultural heritage of Russia and strengthening of the positive image of our country in the world via the state valuable postal matter.
