During his working visit to Bern (Switzerland), Director General of JSC
Marka Artyom Adibekov met with Pascal Clivz, the Deputy Director General of the Administrative Council of the Universal Postal Union.
Within the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed the development of philately and the key business lines of the World Association for the Development of Philately. Artyom Adibekov presented a special philatelic set, which included postage stamps and souvenir vignettes issued for the 145
th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union.
The Russian delegation has got to know the philatelic display arranged in the building of the Universal Postal Union with stamps from different countries that had become winners of international competitions. Among those, there is an exhibit from the Russian Federation named “Philatelic Kaleidoscope”, which in 2019 was awarded the gold medal at the 16
th International Competition Class for issuance postal administrations.
Then the members of the delegation visited the repository of valuable postal matter of different countries published from the establishment of the Universal Postal Union.
