Grigory A. Rechkalov (1920−1990), is a Soviet flying ace, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, major-general of Air Forces.
The envelope with a commemorative stamp provides an image of an emblem of the celebration of the 75
th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945; the main image portraits G. Rechkalov against
AeroCobra fighter aircraft and two
Golden Star medals.
In addition to the emission of the envelope with a commemorative stamp, JSC
Marka produced special cancels for Moscow and Ekaterinburg.
