A solemn commemorative stamp cancelling ceremony was held on December 23, which was dedicated to the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation



The event was attended by the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, the chairman of the Russian historical society Sergey Naryshkin, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Olga Vasilyeva, the head of Federal Communications Agency Oleg Duhovnitsky and the State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Grigoriy Rapota.



In 2019 «The Federal Communications Agency and JSC «Marka» began issuing the series of postage stamps dedicated to the activity of the Foreign Intelligence Service and outstanding intelligence officers. On December 6, an artistic stamp with the image of the building and the emblem of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation went into postal circulation. The quantity of stamps is 120 thousand copies. I am sure that this unique stamp will forever keep the memory of today’s event and become a philatelic rarity among the collectors from all over the world, remarked the deputy of Federal Communications Agency.
