Evgraf Fedotovich Komarovsky (1769−1843) - Russian infantry general, adjutant general, the first commander of the internal guard of Russia, count, author of memoirs on the events of the period 1786−1833. He participated in the Italian and Swiss campaigns Suvorov A.V. He was in the battles of Bassignano, Tidon, Trebbia, Nure, and participated in the Alpine campaign. In 1800−1801. - Commandant of the Kamyanets-Podilsky fortress, from 1801 - Adjutant General.

Evgraf Fedotovich Komarovsky became the founder and first commander of the internal guard (1811), and then - the commander of the Separate Corps of the Internal Guard - the prototype of the internal troops (1816). He did not take a direct part in the hostilities of 1812: he was instructed to supply the army with recruits and militias. In 1816 he was promoted to lieutenant general, in 1828 - to the generals from infantry “for distinctions in service”.
