The Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is a higher military educational institution, the leading educational, methodological and scientific center of the Armed Forces.
The University ensures training of military personnel in five domains: military humanitarian, military legal, military philological, military conductor's and military financial. The collective body of the Military University was awarded the "European Quality" International Prize "for the high level of professional, research and cultural and educational activity" in 2011. In 2012, the University was acknowledged the best institution of Europe in the field of education.
