The Winter Universiade 2019 Directorate acknowledged the unique contribution of Marka JSC to the preparation and holding of the 29th Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk in 2019.
Marka JSC issued 4 stamps dedicated to the Winter Universiade’s sports facilities, one augmented reality miniature sheet, stereo-vario postcards with the Universiade 2019 Mascot, and an artistic cover.
An overprinted stamp dedicated to the 29st Winter Universiade held in Krasnoyarsk on March 2-12, 2019, will be issued on April 16. Athletes competed for 76 sets of awards in 11 sports, including biathlon, alpine skiing, curling, snowboarding, ski-orienteering, figure skating, freestyle, hockey, Russian hockey, and short track speed skating. Russia dominated the all-medal count.
