The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Megapir National Association of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Aleksander Kanshin and the Head of the Federal Communications Agency, Acting State Adviser of the Russian Federation I class, Oleg Dukhovnitskiy.
The association is widely known as an organization that has united under its wing many distinguished and honored officers, whose main goal is to serve their Fatherland and people. The organization has become a rallying base for officers of the Russian army, people of honor and duty, who possess tremendous managerial experience, high spiritual and moral qualities. Today, Megapir consists of generals and marshals who have gone through a harsh school of life, who pass on their experience to the younger generation of officers. At the same time, the organization patronizes some military units, encourages the best sergeants and officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“The Federal Communications Agency and the Joint-Stock Company Marka annually produce various philatelic products dedicated to the anniversary events of state and public organizations. Today we issued an envelope with a circulation of 1 million copies with the logo of the Association. I am sure that the envelope canceled today will become a unique instance, a philatelic rarity among collectors all over the world and will forever keep the memory of today's event,” the head of Rossvyaz said.
