Head of the Federal Communications Agency Oleg Dukhovnitsky discussed prospects for cooperation with the Union of Artists of Russia



On September 27, Oleg Dukhovnitsky, head of the Federal Communications Agency, visited the exhibition “Moscow Artists. Artyom Adibekov and Sergey Ulyanovsky ", and also participated in the meeting of the Board of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists of Russia (MUCH). He spoke about the results of interaction with the Union of Artists of Russia on the popularization of contemporary art on state signs of postal payment and new areas of cooperation.



Since 2011, JSC "Mark" produces a series of postage stamps "Modern Art", which depicts the best examples of painting and sculpture of talented cultural figures. In total, within the series, 31 stamps with a total circulation of more than 6.5 million have already been issued. Since 2018, a new series of post miniatures “Monumental art of the Moscow Metro” has been launched.



The leadership of the Union of Artists of Russia highly appreciated the contribution of the Federal Communications Agency to the preservation and development of Russian art. The first secretary of the Union of Artists of Russia, chairman of the Moscow Union of Artists, People’s Artist of Russia Nikolai Borovskoy, presented the medal of the Moscow Union of Artists “For the Development of Traditions” to Oleg Dukhovnitsky.



The exhibition of Moscow artists Artem Adibekov and Sergey Ulyanovsky is held in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Russia on Begovaya until October 5. The exhibition presents more than 80 easel paintings of landscape and portrait painting, made in the style of realism.
