Russian stamps billed as the world’s most protected stamps

Representatives of issuing administrations and Goznak JSC executives held a business meeting at the World Association for the Development of Philately (WADP) conference, currently under way in St. Petersburg.

Viktor Barilkin, Deputy CEO of Goznak JSC, told about the possible applications of innovative technologies in printing industry and protection of state postage stamps of the Russian Federation and other states.

Goznak printing plants perform a complete cycle of postal stamps production, from special protected paper manufacture to the printing and perforating of finished products in compliance with GOST requirements and the highest level of quality control.

Consequently, WADP members came to a conclusion that state postage stamps printed in Russia are the most fraud-proof in the world. Due to successful cooperation between Marka JSC and Goznak JSC, non-definitive stamps have at least three protection levels, whereas definitive stamps — no less than six.
