October 16, the President of the World Association for the Development of Philately, the General Director of JSC “Marka” Adibekov A.V. met with representatives of the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Universal Postal Union.
The negotiations were attended by FIFA's Senior Affiliate Program Manager Laurence Iser and representatives of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union - Olfa Mokaddem, Head of the UPU philately and international coupon programs, and Stefan Künne, philately program manager.
Participants discussed the operating procedure and interaction for the issuing administrations of licensed labeled products.
As a result of the meeting, a proposal was developed to organize a seminar on intellectual property and the issue of stamps with licensed symbols for all interested issuing administrations with the participation of representatives of the International Olympic Committee, the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations.
