September 22, an official cancellation ceremony of stamped postcards dedicated to the 25th anniversaries of the Republic of Ingushetia and of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic took place

The ceremony took place in the State Kremlin Palace today. Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Head of the Republic of Ingushetia; and Rashid Temrezov, Head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, took part in the event.

The Republic of Ingushetia and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic are dynamically developing constituent entities of the Russian Federation boasting high economic, intellectual and cultural potential. Large-scale projects in agriculture and construction industry are implemented, civic society institutions and public authorities are created, new amenities are introduced, and new residential houses and sports complexes are built in these regions. Many people living there are awarded with the highest awards of the Russian Federation.

The postcard dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Republic of Ingushetia features the coat of arms of the republic and Vovnushki, a set of medieval watchtowers, which is a unique monument of historical and cultural legacy and a symbol of Ingushetia. The postcard commemorating the anniversary of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic bear images of the coat of arms of the republic and of Mount Elbrus, the highest peak of Russia and Europe. The total printrun of the postcards is 5,000 copies.

“Today, two postcards are released into the postal circulation, with the help of which thousands of our compatriots will use the postal service and will learn of the anniversaries of the federal subjects. I wish the people of Ingushetia and Karachay-Cherkessia a warm celebration with their families and to leave their marks in the new history with their great plans and new achievements”, said Mr. Dukhovnitskiy.
