June 6, an official cancellation ceremony of a stamped postcard dedicated to the Vladimir Kikot Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation took place



The ceremony took place at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. General Lieutenant of the Police Igor Kalinichenko, Head of the Vladimir Kikot Moscow University of the MIA of Russia; Vladimir Shelikhov, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; and Vitaly Turbin, Chair of the Board of Association of Combat Veterans of Internal Affairs Agencies and the Internal Troops of Russia; took part in the event.

The Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was opened in 2002. The university teaches and trains high qualified specialists, and provides refresher courses and advanced professional training of various units of internal affairs agencies for all the Russian regions. The university combines professional education with research, which is based on the latest scientific breakthroughs in crime fighting and law enforcement.

The university, together with its branches, have trained more than 40 thousand specialists over the years. The Moscow University of the MIA of Russia annually provides ground for major events of different scale — international, all-Russian, regional, interinstitutional and interacademic, research and applied seminars, conferences, and round tables.

Today, we have issued a stamped postcard dedicated to this fine educational institution. I am sure the stamped postcard will forever retain the memory of the today’s event”, said Mr. Shelikhov.
