The ceremony took place in Tula, within the territory of the Tula Kremlin. Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Pavel Krasnorutskiy, Chair of the All-Russian Non-governmental Organization “Russian Union of Youth”; and Yuri Andrianov, the First Deputy Governor – Head of the Government of Tula Oblast, took part in the event.
Russian Student Spring is the most wide-scale program of supporting and promoting students’ creativity, which has been implemented in Russia since 1992. A Regulation on the Program is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the All-Russian Non-governmental Organization “Russian Union of Youth”. The festival includes dance, musical and theatrical contests, as well as an original genre, regional programs, journalism, as well as a business program.
More than 1.5 million students of 700 professional educational organizations and educational organizations of higher education of the Russian Federation take part in the project annually. The 25th anniversary festival will take place in Moscow and Tula in 2017. More than 3,000 talented students will take part in the competition program. The gala concert will take place in the Large Hall of the State Kremlin Palace on May19, 2017.

The issue is aimed at drawing attention to supporting students’ creativity in art and culture, and to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Russia’s peoples”, said Mr. Dukhovnitskiy.
