A round table with “Marketing in Stamps: Design and Printing” subject took place on 31 March 2017 as part of the World Association for the Development of Philately (WADP) General Assembly
Artyom Adibekov, WADP President and JSC “Marka” Director General, opened the event. He said that “abundance of design techniques and high quality of printing allows to accommodate the needs of sophisticated philatelists and attract new collectors, which is highly important to develop philately around the world”.
Representatives of Australia, Argentina, China, Russia, Tunisia and UK updated the attendees on their marketing activities and stamp printing innovations.
Nowadays, Russia boasts one of the most advanced systems of production and distribution of signs of postal payment in the whole world. Diverse topics, rich design, cutting-edge printing technologies and dependable protective methods, and an expansive network of philatelic stores developed all over the country, allow to consider Russia a leader in philately.
