March 27, a postage stamp dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States to be issued



The Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) was created on 27 March 1992. It is an interstate body of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The postage stamp features Tauride Palace and the IPA CIS logo.

Additionally, JSC “Marka” will manufacture first day covers and special cancellation postmarks for Moscow and St Petersburg.

Design: I. Ulyanovskiy.
Face value: 35 RUB.
Size of stamp: 42×30 mm, size of sheet: 146×170 mm.
Form of issue: sheet with illustrated margins of 15 (3×5) stamps.
Circulation: 330,000 stamps (22,000 sheets).

An official cancellation ceremony will take place at a IPA CIS Council in Tauride Palace, St Petersburg, on March 27.
