The Federal Communications Agency and JSC “Marks” continue work on the new issuance of definitive stamps on gummed paper to be issued in 2018.
From 1992 six issuances of definitive stamps were issued. The last three ones “The Mansion Houses”, “The Fauna of Russia” and “The Town Fortresses of Russia” are used for sending mails to the present day.
However, the improvement of printing industry and postage stamps protection measures as well as change tariffs for sending correspondence made it necessary to prepare a new issuance of definitive stamps of Russia. Specialists of JSC “Marka”, JSC "Goznak" and FSUE “Russian Post” began developing variants of design and protection measures of new definitive stamps.
JSC “Marka” invites representatives of the philatelic community to discuss the design of new stamps.
We present some sketch designs for discussion.
You can express your view and put proposals on themes of the issuance and improving design of new stamps.
