January 24, 2017 the Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) “Marka” was reorganized into the Joint Stock Company “Marka” (JSC “Marka”), a company owned 100 per cent by the state. JSC “Marka” is the legal successor to a FSUE “Marka”.
Control over the activities of the company will be carried out by the Federal Communications Agency and the Federal Agency for State Property Management.
JSC “Marka” will continue the story of the enterprise, which successfully operates for 160 years, when The Main Post Office founded Stamp Expedition and the Circular of the Postal Department “On the introduction of postage stamps for common use” was published.
