The postage stamp
“The 1000 Anniversary of the “Russian Truth” First Code of Laws of Ancient Rus’” is acknowledged the best postage stamp issued in 2016 according to the opinion of National Philately Academy members.
The postage stamp features an image of the first set of laws designed by V. Beltukov. The stamp’s printrun is 350,000 copies. The stamp went on sale in all the post offices of Russia and Collector Showrooms.
National Philatelic Academy carries out its activities in order to coordinate basic and applied researches in the field of postal history, philately, assistance in development of and promotion of collecting the state signs of postal payment.
