December 25, 2016 early in the morning the Ministry’s of Defense of the Russian Federation TU-154 aircraft crashed on the Black Sea. The Tu-154 had 92 people on board. Most of the passengers were members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, the official choir of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as public and state figures traveling to wish our military staff in Syria a happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
The list of victims listed Anton Gubankov, Director of Culture Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
For many years Anton Gubankov worked in collaboration with FSUE PTC “Marka” on the release of postage stamps on the military and patriotic themes and he provided significant assistance in the implementation of joint issues. His professionalism, competence, commitment, cheerfulness and faithfulness have earned the respect of all who worked with him.
They died in the line of duty in the performance of official duties, and they will forever remain in our memories and our hearts.
It is an irreparable loss for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, for colleagues, for friends, for the whole Russian culture, to which they dedicated to the service of their lives.
We feel deep sorrow and we will always remember about them.
