FSUE PTC “Marka” supervised by the Federal Communications Agency was awarded diplomas with the rank of gold medal in the competitive literary class for issue of the Catalog “State signs of postal payment. Postage stamps of the Russian Empire 1857 – 1919. Postage stamps of the RSFSR 1918 – 1923 Postage stamps of the USSR 1923 – 1960” and the Philately magazine 2016 annual set. The exhibits of non-competitive classes “2015 Year of Literature in Russia” and “Russian Culture and Art” were also awarded commemorative gold medals.
All-Russian philatelic exhibition took place from 7 to 14 December, 2016. The exhibition was dedicated to the 250th birth anniversary of Nikolay Karamzin, a Russian writer, historian, a native of Simbirsk Governorate. More than 67 exhibit items from 16 Russian regions as well as Belarus were presented in the halls of the Lenin Memorial.
