The postage stamp features the architectural objects of the city: a monument “Soldier” on the background of the Omsk Fire Tower, Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin and a residential building “House with a Spire”. The face value is 24.00 RUB, the stamp is designed by G.Shegol.

“The stamp will be issued in large circulation across the country, it will spread far beyond the borders of Russia popularizing Omsk and this wonderful anniversary celebration. This is the contribution of the Federal Communications Agency in today's celebration and its gift to Omsk”, Oleg Dukhovnitsky said.

“Frankly, that's always nice to receive gifts! Omsk has a great three centuries-long history. This city was established as a stronghold to defend against nomadic incursions, over time it has become a beautiful, modern garden city, which is not only the cultural capital of Siberia, but also industrial, missile industry center of the country”, Victor Nazarov said.
