BREST 2016 International Philatelic Exhibition was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of a valiant defense of the Brest Fortress.
A thematic exhibit made by FSUE PTC “Marka” supervised by the Federal Communications Agency dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945 received a memorable gold medal for participating in the official class. The “Zemstvo, Wenden.
Postage Stamps, Stamped Envelopes, Postcards, Parcels 1862-1919” catalog was awarded a gold medal and a special prize for the best foreign exhibit in the literary class. The
Filateliya (“Philately”) magazine 2014–2015 annual set was awarded a gold medal. The catalogs of state signs of postal payment of the Russian Federation 2012–2015 were awarded a gilt medal.
Approximately 80 exhibits from Armenia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia and Ukraine were present at the exhibition.
