ROSSICA 2016, a biennale of Russian philately, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the first Russian district council postage stamp was held at the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin from 20 till 22 May 2016. Philatelists from 17 countries took part in the event showcasing almost 100 exhibits in 7 different classes. The exhibition was organized by the Russian National Academy of Philately jointly with the German Philatelic Academy and Schwaneberger Verlag GmbH publishing company, with the participation of the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin.
49 publications were exhibited in the literary competition class that FSUE PTC “Marka” supervised by the Federal Communications Agency.
The “Zemstvo, Wenden. Postage Stamps, Stamped Envelopes, Postcards, Parcels 1862-1919” catalog was awarded a gold medal.
The
Filateliya (“Philately”) magazine 2015 annual set was awarded a gilt medal.
The catalogs of state signs of postal payment of the Russian Federation for 2013, 2014 and 2015 were awarded a silver medal.
