The Festival took place on May 26–31, 2016 in Central Exhibition Hall “Manege”.
FSUE PTC “Marka” supervised by the Federal Communications Agency was invited to take part in the
Luchshiye (“the best”) festival project organized for all the recipients of the
Vera main award in eight areas of activity for the 2007–2015 period. An original display of postage stamp of the Russian Federation was made especially for the exhibition.
FSUE PTC “Marka” is a 2010 graphic prize winner in “For Exclusive Stamp Series Design” nomination for 2009–2010 postal issues.
The 10th Anniversary Moscow International Festival of Art “Traditions and Contemporaneity” was held under the auspices of the UNESCO and with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, World without Borders Fund, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Hall, Department of Culture of Moscow and Russian Academy of Arts.
This year, the scope of the festival is unprecedented: works of more than 300 participants from 40 countries were present in Manege.
The main idea of the festival is to demonstrate all the palette of the world art in painting, graphic art, sculpture and commercial art, tendencies and directions of modern culture in one exhibition, to bring art of different countries and peoples, to present authentic works reflecting national traditions.
