The ceremony of Memorial Cancellation postcard dedicated to the International Telecommunication Academy was held on the 4th of March. There took part the Head of the Federal Agency of Communications - O.G. Dukhovnitsky, the president of the International Telecommunication Academy - A.P. Ositis, a deputy chairman of the Federation Council on regulations and the organization of the parliamentary activities of the Committee – N.F. Pozhitkov and the Chairman of the Trade Union of Communication Workers, Vice-President of International Telecommunication Academy (ITA) – A.G. Nazeykin.

International Telecommunication Academy (ITA) is the Russian public organization, which take a mission to consolidate the creative potential of scientists and experts to promote the modern telecommunication development in the interests of the state and the economy. ITA take an enormous importance in the activities of the International Telecommunication Union.

ITA was registered on the 7th of March, 1996 year. The Academy operates its activity on the territory of the Russian Federation and on the territory of countries that have established its offices and living and working ITA’s academics. Currently, the Academy consists of more than 600 academics from more than 30 countries. Which are representing over 300 organizations.



On the postcard shows the logo of the 20th anniversary of the ITA, it released a circulation of 5500 copies.

The president of the Rossvyaz (The Federal Agency of Communication) congratulated the Academy with the landmark date and highlighted its important role in the salvation of different problems in the sphere of industry regulation and the development of new communications standards. "The issue of postal cards will inform about it to senders and recipients of correspondence. Eventually, it’ll have a beneficial effect on the promotion of ITAs activities” – noted the president of the Rossvyaz.
