February 10, Vladimir Shelikhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz), and Artyom Adibekov, FSUE PTC “Marka” Director General, conducted work negotiations with representatives of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
During the talks with Dominique Boyer, Head of Retail and Marketing of the FIFA Marketing Division, the participants discussed the results achieved in 2015 at implementing the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ Philatelic Program, as well as, plans and prospects concerning continuation of this series.
In 2015, FSUE PTC “Marka” supervised by Rossvyaz and FIFA signed an agreement on issuance of a large-scale philatelic program dedicated to 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ for a period from 2016 till 2018.
In 2015, the total print-run of state signs of postal payment issued as part of the above-mentioned program amounted to 18,370,000 copies.
