It will be released 98 stamps and 10 souvenir sheets in
2016 totally. The philatelic production is devoted to historical and memorable dates, significant events and achievements, public figures of science, culture and art in the Russian Federation.
The new series of stamps “The Way to Victory”, reflecting events and heroic feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, and the series “Outstanding Historians of Russia” will be released into circulation. Seven joint issues of the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Spain, the Argentine Republic and the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Malta and Slovenia are planned.
