The event was held at St. Vladimir's Cathedral in Chersonesos. The participants of the ceremony were Sergei Romanenko, Head of Staff of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Crimean Federal District; Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency; Archpriest Sergei Halyuta, Rural Dean of the Sevastopol church district, Dean of St. Vladimir's Cathedral.

Due to this souvenir sheet, which can be used for sending the correspondence in Russia and all over the world, a lot of people get the opportunity to learn more about the world heritage”, - said Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency.
Chersonesus is a city founded by ancient Greek colonists more than 2,500 years ago in the southwestern part of the Crimean Peninsula. The city was an important transit location, a cultural and a political hub of North Greater Black Sea area. In 2013, Ancient City of Tauric Chersonese and its Chora were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
St. Vladimir's Cathedral in Chersonesos is the Orthodox shrine, which immortalized the adoption of Christianity by Saint Vladimir.
